The jewel in the shopping crown of the city is the Queen Street Mall, which is considered to be the centre of fashion and retail within Queensland. The largest koala sanctuary in the world is the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane. There is nothing quite like cuddling a koala, and a visit to the sanctuary makes for an unforgettable experience. The sanctuary is also home to other native Australian animals, such as wombats, dingoes, kangaroos, crocodiles and wallabies. Daily birds of prey exhibitions, sheep dog shows and Tasmanian devil feedings all add to make the visit truly memorable.

The Mount Coot-tha Botanic Gardens is a favourite attraction with tourists. It offers panoramic views of the city, and is home to various themed gardens. 52 hectares of horticulture houses the world's largest collection of Australian rainforest trees.

It offers the chance to take in the breathtaking beauty and tranquillity of a World Heritage listed wilderness. A much loved landmark in Brisbane is the Story Bridge. Constructed during the great depression in the 1930's, it is only one of three locations in the world that offers thrill-seekers the opportunity to perform a bridge climb. For those looking for an adrenaline hit, it is a truly unique and memorable experience that cannot be missed. The adventure experience, which involves walking across the Story Bridge in groups wearing safety harnesses, is one of the best and most scenic ways to see the city. For an extra adrenaline rush, you can abseil down the iconic 80 meter high cantilever bridge.
