Taiwan

A trip to Taiwan is special! Tiwan has many Chinese influences, but also a strong, unique character of its own. Outside the bustling cities, you will find stunning nature and breathtaking sights. Right at the northern tip of Taiwan lies the ultra-modern Taipei. The capital Taipei is for many of the starting point of a tour around Taiwan. The entire island of Taiwan isn't very large, so in two weeks you can see a lot of Taiwan.

Albania

Albania is a unique and undiscovered destination in Europe that will surely surprise you. Its location by the Adriatic Sea, pleasant temperatures, and breathtaking nature make Albania a beloved holiday destination. From rafting on beautiful rivers, hiking in a National Park, to spotting wildlife; it's all possible! In addition to all these adventurous activities, there are also plenty of beautiful beaches to be found in Albania. Enjoy the rugged coastline, small coves, and picturesque harbor towns.

Kyrgyztan

This is sparsely populated country is a magnet for adventurers, eco-tourists, and nature lovers. You can visit the bustling market in Osh, a 3,000-year-old city that was once an important trading post on the Silk Road. The stunning landscape features 23 mountains that rise above 5,000 meters. These mountains are home to Lake Issyk-Kul, the highest-altitude lake in the world after Lake Titicaca in Peru. Beyond the breathtaking scenery, the people of Kyrgyzstan are incredibly warm and welcoming, and no visa is required to go on vacation here. You can fly directly from Amsterdam to Bishkek to start exploring the country!

Georgia

Did you know that Georgia is twice the size of the Netherlands, yet has only 4.7 million inhabitants? The people here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you will feel right at home as a tourist. Georgia has a diverse landscape. Just like in Kyrgyzstan, there are many large mountains in Georgia. One day you could be skiing in the mountains, and the next swimming in the Black Sea. Over 30 percent of the country is covered in forest. In the city of Tbilisi, you can stroll through market stalls full of fresh fruit and relax in one of the many restaurants after a long day, enjoying delicious Georgian cuisine. Tbilisi is a city of contrasts, with modern towers alongside crumbling Soviet-era flats. Did you know Georgia also has wine regions? In the Kakheti region, you can stay at one of the many wineries, often including guided tours.

Belize

Belize maybe the smallest country in all of Central America, but it's definitely worth a visit. With the largest coral reef in the Northern Hemisphere and the tallest waterfall in Central America, this country has a lot to offer. The most popular dive spot is the Great Blue Hole, with a depth of 120 meters! This dark abyss in the midlle of Lighthouse Reef is impressive from above, but diving here reveals even more-everything from whale sharks to dolphins.
In addition to its breathtaking underwater world, Belize is also home to the ancient Maya civilization. In the west, near the Guatemalan border, lies the centuries-old Maya world. Here you will find the temples of Xunantunih, easily accessible via a 2-kilometer hike. Xunantunich is Belize's most famous landmark and features 25 temples and 6 larges plazas.

Costa Rica

A holiday to Costa Rica is a true must for nature lovers and adventures. San Jose, the bustling capital of Costa Rica, is the perfect standing point for a journey through this stunning country. In Tortuguero National Park, you can experience the awakening of the rainforest by canoe in the early morning hours. The day begins with the loud calls of toucans, macaws, and parrots. Of course, no trip to Costa Rica would be complete without relaxing on the pearly white sand of the 'Surf Mecca'. One of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica is Playa Tamarindo. Thanks to the steady wind, it's also a great spot for surfing!

Colombia

Colorful Colombia is the ultimate holiday destination! The vibrant capital Bogota is located in the heart of Colombia. This city offers a beautiful mix of modern and historic sights. Prefer wandering through a picturesque hilly landscape? Then visit the Tatacoa Desert. Here, rugged mountains meet a desert plain. However, Tatacoa isn't officially considered a desert, as it receives too much rainfall. Instead, it's known as a tropical dry forest. "Tatacoa" means rattlesnake in Spanish, named after one of the few species that can survive in this harsh environment. Thanks to the low light pollution at night, this is also the perfect place to admire the starry sky.

Nicaragua

Nicaragua is the land of mountains, lakes, and volcanoes. The landscape of Nicaragua is incredibly diverse. In the west of the country, you will mostly find lowlands and volcanoes, while in the south there's a large lake. This is Lago Cocibolca, the largest lake in Central America. An estimated 430 islands are scattered across the lake. The two most popular islands in Nicaragua are: Isla Ometepe and the Corn Islands. Isla Ometepe was formed by two volcanoes. The island is quite basic, making it perfect for exploring by bike. For example, you can visit the largest waterfalls in Nicaragua. Want to relax on the beach? Then the Corn Islands are the perfect spot. Here you will find beautiful beaches with azure-blue water.

South-Korea

South-Korea is a unique blend of ultra-modern cities, traditional villages, and stunning natural landscapes. Korea is home to a lot of untouched nature that remains largely undiscovered by international tourists. For instance, Chuncheon offers breathtaking views over two lakes. In the heart of the country, you will find beautiful national parks with impressive temples, including Seoraksan and Songnisan. The modern capital of South Korea is Seoul, where you will find the Gyeongbok Palace along with many other historic landmarks. In short, it's a country full of contrasts and wonders - well worth a visit!

Namibia

Namibia is the land of towering red dunes, fascinating deserts, and exotic wildlife. In Etosha National Park, you can go on a safari and spot the Big Five! Another breathtaking park is Namib-Naukluft Park, part of the Namib Desert — the oldest desert in the world. The capital of Namibia is Windhoek, where you'll find colonial buildings and delightful restaurants. In this city, you'll notice strong German influences alongside African culture, a legacy of German colonial rule. The Lutheran Christuskirche, a small German-style church with red roof tiles, is the city’s iconic landmark and a must-see in Windhoek.
